PFA Director General Muhammad Usman said that anybody can download the result of the samples from the website (www.pfa.gop.pk) as they are available on it.
The production of all those brands that failed to meet the standards in lab tests is ordered to stop by the PFA. After ensuring proper reforms, the authority would again collect the samples for more laboratory tests.

The Punjab Food Authority continues to check the irregularities that have been making our food harmful to health as PFA has been quite active for the past few months. It has revealed that most of the food items that we use for daily purposes are not very safe for consumption. There is a declaration by the PFA that the ice creams and frozen desserts produced by 3 brands (Gourmet, Chaman, and Royal) are dangerous for human consumption.
