It is about time that services such as air ambulance should be launched to provide better health facilities to the citizens of Pakistan.
It was announced by the chief minister Punjab Usman Buzdar that government is looking at such options and resources to offer the best medical and treatment facilities to people.
Air Ambulance to be Launched in Certain Cities at First
This announcement came when the Chairman of Chief Minister’s Task Force Dr. Tahir Ali Javed met with the Vice Chancellor of King Edward Medical University (KEMU) Prof. Khalid MasudGondal.
It was decided in the meeting that such services are required to facilitate people to the maximum. The air ambulance service will be much like the 1122 Rescue, but it involves air transport.
According to the meeting output and media reports, Chairman directed their members to take suggestions from the concerned people and institutions before they form a policy.
It was further declared in the meeting that initially this air ambulance service will be launched in certain cities of Pakistan like Multan, Lahore, DG Khan and on Motorway. Then gradually it will expand to other cities.
Although the work is still in the pipe’s meetings are being held between different peoples and institutions that will get to work together to run a successful air ambulance.
This new service will definitely come in handy especially when severe accidents happen in such areas like Motorway where sometimes it takes much time to transfer the injured to the nearest hospital.
