A new airline is on its way to be introduced in the mid of next year. AirSial is a new airline which is being launched by the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) has got its approval form the Prime Minister Imran Khan.
The airline is a combined venture of Sialkot Chambers of Commerce and industry and the Sialkot International Airport.
A meeting was held between the local businessmen who included the chairman AirSial Fazal Jillani. The delegation was led by the special youth Affairs minister Usman Dar who called up the minister of the Privatization and Aviation Mian Mohammad Soomro for further consultations.
It is understood that the Sialkot is fast becoming a hub for the business opportunities. Prime Minister Imran Khan was highly impressed by the business community of the Sialkot and highly praised what the people of the Sialkot were doing. Khan was of this view that such efforts would result in more job opportunities and other business plans which will benefit eh economy of Pakistan.
The local businessmen who were included in the meeting thanked the prime minister for the full support and cooperation.
They had planned the launching of the new airline back in 2009 when they established the Sialkot Airport by themselves. What an amazing effort by the Sialkot businessmen in establishing a full working airport on the self-help basis.
The airline has already secured its aviation license in October 2017 from CAA, Civil Aviation Authority. The airline plans on operating to Pakistan main destinations and in the Middle East with three Airbus A320 aircraft.
