Prime Minister Pakistan Imran Khan vowed to bring an economic boost in the country, and for that, he will do anything. In this regard when he took notice of the gas bills which have increased unbelievably, he is trying to keep his words.
An Inquiry Should be held Regarding the Hiked Gas Bills
PM Imran Khan took serious notice of the gas bill situation and met with the Minister of Petroleum and Natural Resources Ghulam Sarwar Khan and directed him to conduct an inquiry to get to the base of this issue.
According to the PM, such increased gas bills only put the burden on the people, and it is in no helping the nation. Also, PM insisted on getting the inquiry done as soon as possible so the matter should be cleared in a short period.
Serious Matters Were Discussed in Another Meeting in Lahore
Earlier, he met with the Chief Minister Punjab CM Usman Buzdar and Punjab Governor Chaudhry Sarwar in Lahore to have a close look into the matter of JIT (Joint Investigation Team) and what the team has done in the matter of Sahiwal tragedy.
Other serious issues like police reforms and politics related issues were discussed in this meeting as well. CM Buzdar received PM Imran Khan at the CM Secretariat, and a high-level meeting was held there.
Also, in this meeting water issue was brought in to discussion and PM vowed that he will do anything to bring clean water in easy access to everyone.
