Donald Trump, the US president, has stated that he has ended USD 1.3 Billion aid to Pakistan because according to him, Pakistan houses the enemies. He told his cabinet colleagues that he plans on meeting the newly elected leadership of Pakistan.
Donald Trump has stressed that he plans to have a great relationship with Pakistan in the future, but this is not happening because Pakistan has not been fair with the US. Pakistan supports and takes care of US enemies. That is why he has stopped the USD 1.3 billion aid to Pakistan.
According to Trump, the money they have been giving to Pakistan has actually been water money. It did not bring any kind of benefits to the US that is why that aid has been stopped. But he still looks forward to meeting the new leadership as in Imran Khan, new elected Prime Minister of Pakistan shortly.
