YouTube is by no doubt one of the biggest platforms offered by the internet where you can share your voice and let others know about it. When you post a video, people can see it and share it.
Also, the presence of like and dislike buttons helps in getting the impression that the general audience has about the posted video. But dislike button has been creating some serious rifts among youtubers.
It has come into the knowledge that when people hit the dislike button, it is because they have some issues with it. But the team of YouTube has learned that some people purposely dislike a video and they have no reasons behind it.
Also, the team has learned that these dislike mobs create this dislike impression to create tensions for the video poster.
Although YouTube already has some kind of tools which do allow the violation of dislike button abuse, but these mobs are not getting stopped.
So new solutions are being discussed, and new ways are being observed. For now, two main ideas are under work, and they might work. They are;
When someone hit the dislike button, you will get a drop box in which you will have options to tell why you dislike the video.
I personally think many people who are not honest with their opinions will not take time to explain the reason,
The number of likes and dislikes can be kept hidden so that the general opinion regarding the video will not get in the way of your perceiving the video.
If these or any other idea worked, this would surely save a lot of trouble for youtubers.
